I am tb patient. Detected pulmonary tb last month. Undergoing treatment i.e. Akurit-4, four tablets daily in morning. I take the medicine daily at 7: 15 am sharp. Now, my sputum test came negative and I have resumed my duty (earlier for the month I was in isolation, at home). Now I can't take medicine at 7: 15. But can take it at 5 or 5: 30 in. Morning. Can I switch the time?

Yes you can switch to 5.30 morning but take bread or biscuit.

Tb medicines are not related to time. They are to be taken empty stimachtand that is what is important. You can even take it after 2 hours of breakfast as per the new ICMR study. However do remember to take it everyday at around the same time
