My mother is 73 years old. Recently she checked her creatinine and bun. Creatinine result is 1.2 (reference lab rang .6-1 for females) and her bun is 15 which falls under normal lab range. Is her creatinine high, should I consult a nephrologist. She is taking tazloc am 40 for blood pressure and recently due to high hba1c, endocrinologist gave her metformin 500 sr. Is she suffering from chronic renal problem and should I consult a nephrologist?

No need to consult a nephrologist. Values are normal. Just tell her to take lot of fluids.

The renal profile is still normal. Being diabetic and hypertensive it's good to have an annual screening for renal dysfunction. Continue treatment of endocrinologist and cardiologist.
