During routine blood tests found that my creatinine was borderline i. E 1.2. And egfr was 56.in ct scan found that one kidney size has reduced to about 6 cm. And both kidneys shows scarring. Within 3 months creatinine increased to 1.35 and egfr reduced to 48. I was taking telmisartan now since 20 days. One nephrologist said creatinine rise is due to telma. Other nephrologist said continue taking telma. My bp has come back to normal with telma. But now afraid of taking it as creatinine has risen. Any suggestions on whether to take telmisartan for bp in ckd. I am confused. As two nephrologist gave different opinions regarding telma. Should I take it or not.

Hello lybrate-user. There is a safer option in homoeopathic treatment. It can not only reduce the kidney problems but can also control blood pressure. You should take proper homoeopathic treatment. You can consult me at Lybrate. Till then take eel serum 3c thrice.
