Hi doctor, my mom is 58 years old. Her knees are completely out and we consulted a doctor in Chennai and he said knee replacement surgery has to be done. She does not have sugar or bp. However, she is a non-dialysis patient as the creatinine level is 2.2. Is it good to do this surgery?

Knee replacement is a common procedure now a days and helping lot of patients with knee problems majorly done in cases with grade 3 osteoarthritis. You can surely opt for it if her condition is debilitating and she is not able to walk. Just go for strengthening and range of motion exercises before and after the surgery.
