How to control the creatinine level 1.5. Presently doctor prescribed medicine like nefrosave, nodosis and biod3. Also asked not to take animal products. Will it suffice to control the level. I want nephrologist to answer this question.

Nothing to suffice. You need regular follow up with your nephrologist, life style change, weight loss if needed, list of medicine to be avoided etc. It is life long process. Probably if you and your nephrologist work together, you can avoid dialysis for entire life since you are already 73 yrs. All the best and take care of your health.

You have not mentioned if you have diabetes and hypertension. You must also understand that the age related decline in renal function is around 10 ml/min per decade after the age of fourty. Some times I see pts with mildly raised creatinine with no apparent reason apart from advanced age.
