Dear madam / sir I am a 60 years male and I am taking trika .25 mg (only point 25 mg) everyday morning at around 10 am after breakfast past 7 years. I went to a general doctor as I had a little tensions in my work and he gave me trika .25 mg and I continued to take from 7 years. I have never taken more than .25 mg and only 1 tablet per day in the morning after food. Is it okay if I continue life long or should I see a doctor to gradually stop the tablet.

From 7 years you are taking medicine why you are not taking psychological treatment for the total removal of your problem only for three weeks.

Trika 0.25 mg if taken daily will not cause any side effects but since you are 60 years of age try gradually decreasing the dose and stopping it. Consult a psychiatrist for that otherwise you may have benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome.
