I have a 25-hydroxy vitamin-d level of 7.2 which is quite low. I have been suggested osta d3 (6 lac) injection weekly. How long do I have to take the injection? Is there a tablet alternative?

There are satchets available for vit d but since your levels are very low for that Dr. Has prescribed you for injections. Sun exposure in morning 8-11 am will help you restore the levels. Also see if the Dr. Has suggested you calcium supplements. That is important for absorption of vit d.

Hello, Usually the course is for around 6 weeks. Make sure the best absorbable form of vitamin d shots is given. Consult me online for a personalised diet chart.
