Am 64 yrs, love my 4 drinks (30 - 45 ml) daily for the last 40 yrs. Make sure to have nutritious meals post my drinks. Recently & at least twice a year get my lft, kft,cholesterol + other investigations, all are in the normal range. Also walk 2 - 3, sometimes even up to 5 kms. A day. Also smoke about 10 cigarettes a day! only medication I take on regular basis is losar h (for bp, which is in the range of 110 by 75) and thyronorm 75 your advice please.

At your age you are keeping fairly fit. I still advises you to give up smoking completely, and to reduce your drinks to two per day. The effects of smoking and drinking build up slowly and will suddenly manifest itself in the form of some ailment. Sadly most of these illness tend to have long term ramifications and therefore long term treatment. In that case you will be pumping your system with a lot of chemicals and at yoru age you may develop unnecessary complications.
