Hi, I gave biovac v to my son a single dose. In another country, as per there policy, they will give another inactive vaccine. Is it fine? What is the doctor opinion? Should I have to give another vaccine or it is sufficient to give one biovac v? Please suggest to me.

Follow the rules of the country, where you plan to stay for long time. Here in India, two doses of inactive killed vaccine are given, whereas one dose of live attenuated vaccine is enough in case of varicella vaccine.

Breakthrough infection is common with single dose. Better to repeat the dose.

Chicken pox two dosages are recommended. First one at 15 months & second one any time 3 months after the first dose. So you need to give the dose.
