Hi sir, in a liver cirrhosis patient ,he takes dytor plus 10 (cipla ltd) since 1 year and now he wants to stop dytor plus 10 ,so what is similar to that tablet to intake or any fruit or natural food available as like what dytor plus 10 can do to remove excess water in body? Please revert it as early as possible.

It's not necessary take the medicine life long medicines are to be tailored as per his clinical condition and can be stopped or reduced accordingly rest low salt and high protein diet will help him control his body fluids.

Dytor has been used to control ascites and may have been absolutely necessary given the liver dysfunction. It should not be stopped unless suggested by the prescribing doctor.
