On may 10 my pregnancy test was positive. But den from 12 may night bleeding has started. In sonography fetus is not detected but in beta hcg the level is 2349 means I am pregnant according to Dr. Dr. Told me to take 2 duphaston tabs in a day. Am I pregnant? And if yes then is there a chance of miscarriage. I do take alcohol once in a week and two cigarettes in a day. Will it affect my baby.

You should repeat your bhcg test because it should double in 48 hrs time. If it doesn't become one and a half to two times, then there are chances of miscarriage. Also smoking and drinking should be stopped during pregnancy.

Hello. As per your bhcg report you are pregnant. Take all precautions as advised by the doctor. At bhcg value of 2349, one may not see g sac or fetus by transabdominal sonography. Transvaginal sonography can detect pregnancy at this value and tvs may be done once bleeding stops. Yes, there is a risk of miscarriage and it's better you avoid alcohol and smoking. Take care.
