In fistula in ano; a nodular swelling appears in area surrounding anal opening. Off and on pus discharge is seen from this swelling. This problem can not be cure by oral medicines or some ointments. So usually surgery is advised for this condition. But surgery is not a right choice for the reason of recurrence of fistula after surgery and other complications like stool incontinence (inability to hold stool) etc. However this problem can be completely treated without surgery by graded ksharsutra treatment.
