Hello. In our country, dipsi criteria is usually followed for detecting gdm whereby if 2 hour sugar after intake of 75 gm of anhydrous glucose is more than 140 than we diagnose it as gdm.in dipsi criteria 1 hour sugar is not seen, there are other criteria where even 1 hour sugar is used for detecting gdm but the cut off is 180 (at 1 hour).in your case you need to follow a proper guideline either dipsi or iadpsg for confirming or refuting the diagnosis of gdm. Anyways avoid high calorie food and do regular exercise/ walk. Once in a while you can have food of your choice if the blood sugar stays within normal limits.

Ideally, your called gestational diabetes. Which means diabetic during pregnancy for now. A strict diet can make you and your baby healthy. Diabetic pregnant ladies are prone to produce a big baby. If you control your diet like say no to biriyani and junk foods. There are more chance of normal delivery. Just a few more days for your delivery then you can eat whatever you want however if you are carving for biriyani. Enjoy it at small quantity.
