My father (60) is recommended this tab gamlo 2.5 mg daily once, earlier he was told to take telmisat 20, I heard about the side effects of gamlo tab, my father has high pb n sugar (220) post food, can you pls help me if he should continue with this tab or no? He never had heart issue but cholesterol is high as per lipid profile.

Telmistat is considered better medicine as compared to gamlo for high bp in patient of diabetes. Controll blood sugar which is not controlled. Consult a physician who will suggest medicine for high cholesterol if needed.
