I wake up suddenly in the night short of breath with burning sensation in my throat. There is burning sensation at the junction where the ribs meet. This burning sensation does not go away even with drinking of water. My physician has prescribed pantocid 40 to be taken before dinner. I am regularly taking these tablet. However in the morning I feel nauseated and have to voluntarily commit the bile. Sometimes I feel pressure in the junction of joining of the ribs which is relieved with a series of burps. Kindly advise as to the cause and remedy. Secondly hope this are not symptoms of stomach cancer. Regards ganesh.
