Hello doctor, I am anamika srivastava, I was diagnosed with ovarian cyst (endometriosis), initially I taken medicine for three months but it does not effect the size of cyst and it was not dissolved. So I was suggested to get operated. I was operated in jan 2019 but after three months when I go for regular checkup, I was again diagnosed with ovarian cyst so I just wanna ask that is it possible to reform the cyst only in three months of operation as my doctor has said that cyst will not form at least for one year.

The treatment of endometriosis is medical, means by medicine. Surgery has to be followed by medications for a long period. If medicines are not taken, bleeding continues inside and new cysts keep on forming.
