Hai.. Both are the same drug but SR is a sustained release tablet to be taken orally where degradation by stomach juices is avoided.. Plain Micronised progesterone softgels are designed more as vaginal pessaries, to get absorbed through the mucous membrane of the vagina so that the drug concentration inside the uterus is maximum.
