Gemer is a fdc of two medicine, glimepiride and metformin. Common side effects of metformin gastric upset, diarrhoea/constipation, minimal weight loss common side effects of glimepiride hypoglycemia (low sugar), weight gain. Safety of both these drugs is well-established in Indian population.
