My fathers creatinine was .99 last month but this month it is 1.01.should I be concerned? He had prostrate and gall bladder operation last year. He takes thyrox 37.5.he has no pressure and his sugar level on fasting is 98. Do I need to take any precaution? Generally his creatinine level is between .87 to. 97.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Serum creatinine normal range is up to 1.4 mg / 100 ml in males. So there is no reason to worry at all. Most important is as he has hypothyroidism his TSH should be in good control. There is no mention of his age, that would have been better to understand the situation. Thanks.
