I've had vitamin d levels at 8 ng/ml, vitamin b12 levels at 194pg/ml and serum calcium at 10. 9 mg/dl. My physician administered 6l units of arachitol im and prescribed tayo 60k weekly for 12 weeks and nurokind plus also for 3 months. Initially, I felt better but after a month I started feeling weakness in legs & arms while having a bit of balance disorder. I checked with a neurologist and said that it is due to b12 deficiency and i'd have to continue nurokind plus longer to get rid of symptoms. My question is, before blood test, I didn't have this much weakness and I only faced it after a month of medication. Is it the case that symptoms initially worsen before getting better? Another thing, how much time will it take to recover completely? Do I need to keep taking maintenance dose for longer than 3 months?
