Can tenepride 20 be taken with glycomet 500. Patient is currently taking glycomet 500 tablet in the morning. But blood sugar level fasting 260 and after meal is 270. So doctor prescribed tenepride 20. Is it safe? And it should be taken alone or with glycomet 500.

It can be taken with glycomet or can be taken alone. Both is ok. However, the more important thing is about safety. It can be safe if the patient does not have any cardiac problem or complication or any other known contraindication to the teneligliptin. Secondly, tenepride 20 will not be able to control the diabetes to desired goal as the value of fbs and ppbs mentioned by you is very high.

Yes can be take with glycomet but as fbs is very high these medication will not able to control.
