Sir I had sexual encounter with a lady whose hiv status was unknown after 30 days I had done elisa test rna pcr test westernbolt test all came negative. After 80 days ictc combo test came negative. After 87th day dna pcr provera test negative elisa test negative .i'm I hiv free r shud I worry. Please do tell I feel like committing suicide.

Hello dear Lybrate user. You have done all the currently available test for hiv diagnosis and all being negative you are not infected. Having said that (i keep repeating this) I would again humbly request people to kindly avoid self testing without any pre/ post test counselling, without consulting hiv drs so as not to land in situation like you and many others who do window shopping to avoid wasting money in doing unnecceray tests and aviodable stress thsnks for your understanding.
