I am 29 and trying to conceive recently detected with simple follicular cyst doctor suggested with letroz 2.5 mg for 5 days during period and then to have a ovulation test using I know kit. How many days does it take for ovulation after taking last pill?

Dear Lybrate user nothing to worry about simple cyst as mostly this ll disappear spontaneously. If you are taking letrozol can expect ovulation 7-10 days after finishing your last pill. Start doing i-know kit from day 11 onwards. Ovulation usually happens next day of a positive I know kit.

Use the kit daily at same time from day 9. When you see 2 lines, the same day and next day are the most fertile days. One cannot exactly predict the response period. It is different for different patients.

First basic investigations of infertility panel is recommended. Treatment to be taken accordingly. With medication ovulation can be between 10-20 days probably.
