My mother is having blood sugar level in the range of 250-275 mg/dl. She was supposed to a cataract surgery so the opthalomist asked her to control her sugar level within 180 mg/dl. She is already taking glycomet gp2 in the morning. Is it safe to add tiban m 20/1000 to control her sugar level. please lemme know. Thank you.

If surgery is urgent she can be put on insulin for some time for control of sugars. Otherwise she can take diabetologist advice adding another medicine depends on so many factors.
