Hello, my fiancee and I would like to go for premarital health check-up. Please suggest your views on that. And what are the tests we should get done?

It is indeed a good idea to have a check-up, which is done after medical history is taken and then reports are advised and then later reports are seen. Reports in general not tailormade for you two (that is without medical history or examination findings) are blood group, CBC, tsh sure for female, rubella igg for female, reports for diabetes for both, ideally thalassaemia reports, VDRL, HBsAg, hiv, anti-hcv. With medical history and examination, some specific reports may be advised. Later vaccinations would be advised and family planning would be explained.
