I have completed the course of meprate which was for 5 days twice a day I also had a pregnancy test before starting that course which was negative now after how many days will I have to wait for the bleeding to start? And is it confirmed that I will get my periods?

Hi Lybrate-user, Usually bleeding starts within a week of taking the last tablet. In majority of the cases within 48 hours. Most likely you should get your periods if you aren't pregnant (as at times urine pregnancy test can miss an early pregnancy). Hope this helps. :)

Hello. There are many causes of delayed periods like pregnancy, stress, anxiety, thyroid dysfunction, increased prolactin level, medications and pcos.
