Hi good day. My wife had cold on 20 th june 2019. She took one allegra tablet 120 mg on the same day night after food. According to her menstrual cycle, she should have her periods on 23 rd june 2019. She didn't get periods still. Also we are planning for a baby. Does allegra 120 mg cause postponement of periods? Or any pregnancy test to be taken? If so after how much days after the missed period, pregnancy test should be taken?

No. It does not postpone periods. Ideally, the test has to be taken soon after you miss periods. Even within 1-week urine test will be positive. Blood test shows the sooner result.

Allegra is not the reason for delay. Pregnancy test should be done after 5 to 6 days of missed period. She should use her morning urine sample.

Hello, Pregnancy test by preganews card test becomes positive as early as one to two days after missed periods. If negative do repeat it after 7 to 10 days of missed periods.
