Hi, My daughter one and half-year-old does breastfeeding and my doctor has prescribed me cynomycin 100 mg. I am taking this medicine from the last two days. Now I am worried that does it will affect my daughter?

Clindamycin should be avoided in lactation but alternatives are available. Dont worry. but pls stop breast feeding as ur kid ia already 1 and a half year....

Hello.. Cynomycin contains Minocyclin .. Though enough data regarding effect of this drug during lactation is lacking however it is considered to be relatively safe during lactation ..
