I am 51 years diabetes for 17 years but my sugar level under control, I do regular exercises, last 2 months I am having erection, I tried vigomax forte for one week but not much effect. Pls advise if there is any medicine which I can get in a medical store on the shelf.

Hello, thanks for the query. Ed is a fairly commonly seen long term complication of diabetes. It is seen more often if glucose levels are not well controlled. Some times even with fairly well controlled glucose levels it is observed. Therefore, primary need is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.7%. The drug mentioned by you is an ayurvedic combination, without any proven clinical data. So it may not be beneficial at all. There are other molecules like pde- iv inhibitors which could be considered. Thanks.
