Hi, I had stitches on my leg which have been removed 4 days ago. I still cannot wash my stitches with water. What is the best way to clean stitches after they have been cut? Can I use oxum spray or betadine liquid?

You can, by all means, wash your legs after the stitches have been removed. You can use oxum spray or betadine liquid and in fact, only normal water is enough. Oxum spray is a super-oxidized solution for local application. It is intended for use in the debridement and irrigation of acute and chronic wounds, ulcers, cuts, abrasions, and burns. Oxum spray shows a reduction in inflammation and early healing of the wounds.
