I was diagnosed with pcos just now so my doc gave me diane 35 to begin. I took the pill and the very next day my periods have started. She told me to take it for 21 days and then again after 5 day interval. Should I continue to take the pill now for 21 days? Is it bad that the periods have started?

You can continue diane 35 without gap for 21 days. Usually one should wait for 7 days pill free period. Most of the time one has menses during pill free period. You can start the next course from 1st day of menses again.
