Sizopride 200 mg. Then in may 2019 I diagnosed with erosive gastritis. I abruptly quit all psychiatric medicines as I was very afraid of erosive gastritis and medicine interactions. Now after 2.5 months .my schizophrenia. Anxiety relapsed. I am not even going outside of my home due to so much intense fear. I am very confused. I am hearing voices in my head. Should I start taking inspiral 20 mg and sizopride 100 mg again?

You should never self medicate or discontinue on your own aspersions. It is not surprising that you have relapsed. Go back to your doctor and he will decide what does a medication you need to be started on. You are still young but since you had your first breakdown so early, it is likely because some earlier issue remains unresolved that that could be a serious case. I therefore strongly suggest that you not only go on medication but you must work with a therapist in tandem. Schizophrenia is a very complex and difficult disease to treat, even with medication. All psychotropic medicines have side-effects: that is inescapable. But I suspect that you are depending entirely on medication when in reality you need to combine it with counselling or therapy. In therapy, you will learn a lot of coping mechanisms and techniques to remain functional and lead a close-to-normal life. You will also learn about emotions and how they can impact your condition adversely. Expressing emotions in an appropriate manner will equip you for life. Talking and sharing about the many disturbing thoughts and learning to understand yourself and moderate your responses will go a long way towards normalizing and training your mind. Exercise must be a regular part of your life for various reasons. Put yourself on a productive and strict schedule. The idle mind is the devil's workshop for sure, and more so for a schizophrenic.

Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in allah, certainly, allah loves those who put their trust in him (surah al-imran 3: 160). You will no longer be at the mercy of other peoples? approval or validation because you can learn to accept yourself and in accepting yourself you can accept others. Allah will never change the state of the people until they change themselves (surah al-anfal 8: 53).

It is very unusual for someone to have been given inspiral if there was a definitive diagnosis of psychosis. We are saddened to hear about the gastritis and glad to know that it has improved. We believe that using medications will help. However an evaluation of current and previous problems and prescriptions, investigations, evaluations, etc, should help. I believe you also mention that you have hypothyroidism and this will help further with your problems, if treated adequately after investigations. Look forward to hearing from you. Dear Lybrate-user, schizophrenia symptoms (hearing voices, withdrawn inside the house, anxiety.) will relapse, if you stop sizopride. You can discuss with your doctor about treatment of erosive gastritis and interaction with psychiatric medication. Please restart sizopride 200 mg and consult psychiatrist about inspiral and gastritis drug. Some doctors use sulpiride kind of tranquilizers as add on treatment for gastritis.
