Stimulet is actually a drug called 'letrozole' that is conventionally used in ovulation induction in women. In men, it can be used for infertility but is useful only in specific, limited conditions. It won't be useful if given as a routine or empirically. Letrozole for male factor infertility is useful only if there are hormonal abnormalities associated with a poor sperm count. This is classically given if in case the testesterone to estrogen ratio is low. In other words, if the male person's serum estradiol is higher than normal relative to his testesterone. As far as side effects are concerned, letrozole is generally a safe drug. It inhibits the enzyme called aromatase that would lead to inhibition of generation of the female hormone estrogen in your body. If you are obese, have low sperm counts, have a low testesterone to estrogen ratio - all this put together, only then letrozole would help you. Otherwise, not.
