Dear doctor, I am a child specialist by profession. I god my kidney transplant done 8 months back. My pre-transplant weight was 87 kg and now 75 kg because of regular walk and balanced diet. Do I need to bring it gradually to bmi22 or shall I maintain the weight at 75 only. S creatinine is 1.4,urea 45. I need to go to my hospital for 7-8 hours daily where I use to treat different type of children. I wear 3m face mask. What should I do more?

It is ideal if you can get the BMI to 22 especially as you have only one kidney and strict dieting nad exercises will help you
