I am 20 years old. I am suffering from haemorrhoids (grade 1 or 2). Is there any medication for quicker relief? Sometimes I face mild abdominal pain and I have acidity problem also for which I am taking gastric medicine in the morning. For piles, I have started taking himalaya pilex tablet twice a day from last 2 days. As per ayurvedic treatment, can I take arshkuthhar ras along with pilex tablet? Or for any other medication please suggest. Thank you.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user thanks for the very detailed input about your medical condition. From the description, it seems that you have 1. Piles and 2. Acidity you have not mentioned of you are having bleeding during motions. If the bleeding is only small quantity or if there is a small swelling or if there is only itching then medicines and diet control is enough. However, if the bleeding is more then you must visit a proctology centre where laser treatment is done. Early stages like 1or 2 can permanently be treated by the help of lasers. It is a day care procedure in which there is no pain. You can return to work within 2 days. If the grade is 3 or more then you will require stapler surgery. Regards.
