I am having polyneuropathy and I am also on dialysis. Polyneuropathy started after my operation of transplanted kidney removal from then onwards my legs are affected since then I was on medication of omnacortil and pregaba. It has healed to some extent but not completely and its been 3 years and I still feel burning sensation and sharp pain to my feet I get some relief after taking pregaba but this pain is normally high after dialysis process, can anyone suggest any treatment I am also worried about pregaba if it will cause any side effect as I am taking it from the last 3 years.

Generally pregaba does not cause side effects on prolonged intake, consult neurologist, tests for cause of neuropathy should be done. Dose of pregaba may be readjusted as per response also vitamin b12 leves should be checked and replenish.
