I have been diagnosed with asymmetrical iugr. What does this actually meant? I am currently 8 months pregnant. Please tell me is it something to worry about?

Asymmetrical IUGR is one in which the baby’s growth is slow in the later part of the pregnancy. It needs very close monitoring to assure the wellbeing of the baby and to decide when to deliver the baby.

Asymmetric iugr means baby is growing less than expected only with few parameters but not alll. So check for fetal doppler. Take high protein diet.
