I'm being treated for pcod and put on krimson 35, myritol twice a day, cabgolin .25 mg once per week. My tsh is at 6.15 and have been asked to take thyronorm 25 mg once a day. I've taken thyroid tests before too and they have been fluctuating a little high or low always, and have come back to normal too in few tests. Should I start the above medication or not? Is it true that once someone starts thyroid medicine, they can't stop it for life long? Kindly guide. Also, am I prescribed the right medicines for my situation? Are there any unnecessary medicines? Because my entire hormonal profile came at normal except thyroid above.
