Lamitor does not give dizziness and pain. Sizopin is given to reduce psychotic problems. Once psychosis is under control, it will be reduced and stopped. It might reduce the dizziness. At the age of 43 years, your mom may be undergoing hormonal changes or a medical illness that causes pain and dizziness. Let her consult a physician and do health check up.

These are the side effects of both the medicines your mother is taking. It should normalize in a few weeks, but it is better to consult your doctor who prescribed these for the side effects to understand the extent of the same. In the meantime can you kindly specify if your mother's condition is severe or she is able to manage her day well and cope with her condition too? Is she also going through counseling to increase and acknowledge her self-awareness around her bipolar condition? What are the situations when she experiences the mood swings, what thoughts cross her mind just before or after an episode? Answers to such questions hold the key to the problem and allow the patient and family to help and accommodate better. Hence a kind request does take her for regular counselling sessions in your area. Psychoanalysis and cbt should likely suit her. Be in close contact with her doctor.
