Sir, I am 63. Currently taking telma h and atorlip 5 for pressure and cholesterol control. I have been taking these medicines for years. My existing problem is I have to urinate every 5-10 minutes although the quantity of urine passed each time is little. But I have the severe urge to urinate every now and then and unable to avoid it. Sugar level when checked is normal without food and after food slightly higher. Kindly advice if o have to see a urologist or see a general doctor and change the medicines which am taking now. Pls advice.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Frequent urination can be due to many causes like diabetes, urinary tract infection and/ or benign prostatatic enlargement. In UTI there's invariably associated burning sensation. Please check HbA1c% to rule out diabetes. Also get an Ultrasound examination of prostate. Please come back with those results. Thanks
