Pinpointing the exact cause of your itchy, flaky scalp can be difficult, but here are a few common culprits: irritated and oily skin, a condition is also known as seborrheic dermatitis (a more severe form of dandruff) not shampooing enough, which causes skin cells to accumulate and create flakes and itching. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with water until you reach the perfect paste consistency. Dandruff relief may be no farther away than your refrigerator if you have lemons on hand. Just massage 2 tablespoons lemon juice into your scalp and rinse with water. Then stir 1 teaspoon lemon juice into 1 cup water and rinse your hair with it. Repeat this daily until your dandruff disappears. For best results, part your hair in sections and apply a few drops of olive oil before spreading the paste on your scalp, and let it sit for 5?10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the mixture out.
