About two days ago in the middle of the day I started to get a bit of a burning/sore throat that led to my right ear, next day (yesterday) it was the same but now the left ear, which is usually what happens to me with a cold. Ibuprofen helped the pain and I was able to go about my day. Last night I started to get a runny nose and the sore throat was gone. Today I still have a runny nose but now my throat feels a bit scratchy, which again, is usually normal with my colds, but when I looked I have red spots on the roof of my mouth. Is this normal for a cold or should I be concerned? And what can I do for the irritation? Dayquil and ibuprofen helped but not a lot.
