Ke my combined oral contraceptive pill (krimson35) same time everyday (9.30 pm after dinner) and I am on this pill for 2 years along with metformin and folvite. I ve taken this medicine without missing a single dose. I take the pill at 9.30 pm everyday. I am a sunday starter and on 28th july night I slept early and I couldn't take it at 9.30 pm, instead I took it at 2.30 am (midnight). I am 5 hours late in taking the pill and third week of the pill started on 29th july. I had protected intercourse 6 days age from the late pill i.e on 22nd july. Will 5 hours delay in taking the pill will lead to ovulation and pregnancy if I do not ve any plans of intercourse again in this cycle? I ve never missed or late in taking the pill earlier? And after how many days it will be safe to ve intercourse again. How late is too late? I started the current cycle of pill on 14th july (sunday) and my last menses was from 10-15th july (wednesday to monday). My pill pack ended on 3rd aug saturday and I generally get my period on wednesday afternoon. But today is 7th august and ve still not got my menses. I take metformin 2 times a day. But last week I missed 2 days of dose of metformin. Will these lead to pregnancy?

Missing 1 pill will not be a contraceptive failure so do a urin pregnancy test if negative keep waiting for normal periods.

Normally if you miss a pill for a day or take few hours later nothing happens. So just relax and to relieve your anxiety do a urine pregnancy test. If negative wait for few days. When one is on pills even if one misses metformin for few days nothing happens.
