I take 100mgs of zoloft once a day. Today I was given 500mgs of cipro and now i?m worried that i?m going to have an interaction. If I was going to how long will it take for me to have one.

Hi Alexis - In vast majority of patients, no side effects/interaction happens when zoloft ( sertraline) and ciprofloxacin are taken together. - Rarely, there can be an interaction like irregular heart beat if you have any underlying heart/ rhythm problem. If you develop any new symptoms like fainting, feeling dizzy, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc then discuss with your doctor who will review you earlier. - Do not stop medication on your own.
