I am 5.5 month pregnant, and my gynecologist prescribed hermin sachet and alamin m forte. When I searched both medicine, I find that both are contains amino acid, so why she prescribed both.

Hi Lybrate-user, She must have prescribed those tablets if the baby is growing less. Its not overdose to take different brand of same tablets in a day as dosage may be for 2 times a day.

it is given if either fluid is less,or growth of baby is poor. sachets contain only l arginine while hermin has other amino acids also
