Hi, I am 62 years active male and have acute knee problem for the last 2 months. Of late, I am experiencing difficulty in walking as well. I have gone for knee x-rays which shows signs of osteoporosis. The doctor has prescribed some medicines and exercises for one month, which I have started but little relief. Will I be in a normal position or have to go for knee replacement.

The surgery depends on the severity of the knee joint osteoporosis. You can still maintain the pain with the exercises and tablets.
