Get cleaning done from dentist first then mouthwashes.

Pls visit dentist, for the scaling, it shall be fine after the treatment, provided you follow oral hygiene measures.

The first and most important step is getting a professional gum cleaning or scaling done by the dentist. Rest measures for home care becomes ten folds more effective when the debris are removed. Home care starts with luke warm saline rinses 4-6-7-8 times a day. Apply metrogyl gel thrice daily on the gums inside and outside for 15 mins and then rinse off. Also hexidine mouthwash twice a day is very effective, just remember to use atleast after 40 mins post toothbrushing and rinse for 1 min and do not eat or drink for next 30 mins.
