I am 32 male .i feel sleep all the day. I always take 7-8 hour sleep. After 11 am (my breakfast time also) after meal I feel so sleepy and my body does not respond to work. My work is on computer all the day. Afternoon 2 to 4 I also take rest. My blood sugar, hb also ok and in normal range. Tried multivitamins revital etc. They improve but not so much improvement. I want to feel charge all the day and energetic. Please provide some solution for the same.

Dear Lybrateuser, - to keep active & alert all day follow some measures:- you have to consume a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods, be well hydrated & do regular exercise - have more of fruits vegetables including green leafy ones whole grains instead of refined ones & protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats, milk and milk products, tofu, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas and nuts - include a protein rich food in each of your meals and also as a snack in-between meals, reduce the quantity of carbs & fats in your diet - have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals for proper digestion and to provide you with continuous energy throughout the day - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water per day for proper hydration - very important do regular exercise like walking jogging swimming cycling & yoga for 20-30 min daily - get vit d, b12 & thyroid levels checked if not done earlier.
