I am a 21 year old girl and am looking into taking. The contraceptive pill yasmin. I am currently living in greece for a year and therefore can not consult with my doctor. However, I do smoke (although starting the road to quitting) I was wondering how this drug will affect me and if it is still ok to take.

smoking while taking oral contraceptive pills increases the risk of cardiovascular and thrombotic disorders,it also increases chances of intermenstrual spotting . you should stop smoking
