November 14 2019 my preganews pregnancy test is faint positive, my gynecologist suggest to do beta hcg and it is 0.44mui/ .but period is not yet started. Dr.told me to do retest after 5 days at jome and show after 5 days. When beta hcg negative then it was clear that I am not pregnant then why my Dr. told me to retest .please suggest.

When ovulation gets delayed, sometimes late conception can happen, so as your doctor has suggested repeat pregnancy test later, if still negative ,doctor will give medicine to get periods.
